"The Scene This establishment boasts the status of the first bed and breakfast in the Napa Valley. It is nestled in the historical heart of the city of Napa at the gate to this posh wine-growing valley. The Details The idyllic inn is comprised of two lovely houses--a spacious chocolate-colored shingled 1902 Arts and Crafts structure and a smaller Carriage House. Both combine historical ambiance with modern luxuries like private whirlpool tubs. The old-fashioned guest rooms also offer fireplaces, private bathrooms and soothing garden views. Mornings are filled with gourmet treats such as estate coffee, quiche and homemade breads, while afternoons are the perfect time to ride Napa's old town trolley line or explore the valley for California cuisine and some of North America's finest wines."
