"This is a perfect place for an extended stay with children. The pirate pool is a big hit with the kids. We had a 3 bedroom unit (which was perfect with kids and grandparents.) The HUGE advantage is the full kitchen - no eating out for every meal. My only complaint is that this resort which is perfect for an extended vacation doesn't have a pantry. But that was no big deal."

"Like this hotel for the pool, room, and price, but they need much better cleaning staff and maintenance around the pool. Our bathroom was clearly not cleaned upon arrival (gunk on sink and counter from soap, etc, and dirt spots on toilet). One twin bed also had very stained sheets. We had to call twice to get housekeeping to come up, and after they left, they still hadn't cleaned the toilet. Good thing I always bring disinfectant wipes and Lysol!!"

"Us: Family of 4 with two kids, girl(10), boy(7) Room: Two bedroom suite Pros: Very clean, spacious, excellent amenities. The rooms look much better than shown on the website. Great location for all the parks. Walmart 2 minutes away. Walking distance to other outlets. Fully equipped kitchen. Cons: Pool's just too small. Can't understand why they would put such a huge ship that only serves as a short slide. Just put a little slide there, get rid of the ship, and you have a bigger pool.(it's still too small) Turned on the jacuzzi and it was shooting out all these black dirt from the jets. Same thing the next day. That was it for the jacuzzi. Front desk at check in? Let's just say they were doing their job. No wi-fi. They do offer lan cable for free. Limited parking space-we had to park on the street on three of the nights(around 11pm). It's not all that bad though because it's more like private-street parking. Substantial fee for housekeeping service. Otherwise you have to wash your own towels. A part of the master bedroom is a bathroom. We didn't see anything wrong with it until one of the adjacent rooms turned on the shower at 6AM every morning. You can hear every water drop. Overall this is a good place for the value. We would go back for the same rate."

"the hotel looks much better on line. The room was clean but was nothing special.The whirlpool in the master bath did not work, the sheets did not stay on the bed, and the balcony was wasp infested. Although transportation was available to the various parks it was only one time a day and was far from convient. ZThe pool was very nice ."

"I really loved being there and with the family. I would stay again. Very convenient to everything. Even have places to eat in the same area. Even SHOPPING for us women.. Has a full kitchen for cooking. Has a big jacuzzi tub. Adults really enjoyed that.. Nice balcony. However in order for you to receive maid services you can choose from different options. 30 full cleaning, 20 and a 5 dollar option.. You have a washer and dryer and a store that has all you need. I really like the place I would stay again and just relax like I did this time."

"This hotel is not in the immediate Disney World area but is only about 5-10min easy drive to get there. The problem is finding it. The streets in FL all have highway #'s and street names and this can become very confusing. When we stopped for directions at dinner time, the restaurant staff weren't sure where the street it was on was. We were given directions to two other hotels that had Buena Vista in their name. Be aware if you are coming from the Orlando airport this hotel is to the left of Disney World on 535 and not to the right or on Disney's main road which is called Lake Buena Vista. We tried to call the hotel 3 times for directions and only got a live person once. We were told they were very busy and sometimes don't answer the phone in that case. So unfortunately we drove in circles and were lost for about 2.5hrs. Once you there, the hotel has everything you need from a gym, 2 pools, a convenience store, a spa an outlet mall that is across the parking lot and internet access in the lobby area. The pool area was so fun with the water slide and zero entry. The beds were very comfortable and Walmart is close by if you make a left on 535 as you come out of the hotel it will be one block down on the right hand side. Walmart is open 24hrs but be warned that the lines move very slowly as the cashiers do also. Many visitors take children to Walmart at midnight and it's just not the happiest place around at that hour."

"Hotel was very nice and spacious. Balcony faces the pirate ship. You have to get in early at night to find a parking spot. There is not room for everyone. Would stay there again"

"Though I had a little trouble finding the hotel, when I did, it was definitely something that exceeded my expectations. From the front desk to the room, I only wished the stay was longer. Very modern up to date amenities, as well as a relaxing jacuzzi tub, I would highly recommend this to anyone. The view we had was directly at the pool (which has a pirate ship in it). I would definitely come back again to this hotel."

"Good for size and price, but beds are very uncomfortable, linens are cheap, and many things were missing upon check in. Knobs were missing off washer and dryer (never replaced despite many phone calls), hairdryer was missing, and room was not adequately stocked with garbage bags, dish soap, etc. When staying for 10 days, I don't expect to have to make calls everyday for everything."

"Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Surrounded by numerous restaurants and stores. Hotel staff was very professional and helpful. Parking was a little tight at night but a little exercise to the front door does not hurt. The two bedroom accommodations were excellent. My 6 and 4 year old stayed in one room and my wife and I in another. I think I have FINALLY found my hotel."

"the hotel was very nice, very good first impression FULL kitchen, living room, great bathroom with a jetted BATHTUB, however the bedroom had NO drapes to block out the sun, the bed was very hard and had a cheap "motel like" comforter. the door would move everytime that someone walked by or closed the door, all noises could be heard like as if you were in a cheap apartment building...once past that we enjoyed our stay and might stay there again."

"Upon checking in, we were informed that housekeeping wasn't included(not even towel refreshing or trash removal). After reading the rates for daily housekeeping, we quickly decided to do without. When we found our room(poor instructions upon check-in), the temperature in the room was 80. We called the front desk and within minutes maintenance came to rectify the situation. After the room cooled off, we were able to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. Some friends of ours that live in the area said our hotel was in the middle of nowhere. We found that to the contrary. The hotel itself had all the amenities you needed. When we ventured out, we were very close to a variety of restaurants and shopping areas that met all of our needs. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would return in the future."

"The pool was ki friendly. The pirate ship slide was enjoyed by my 10 year olds and the beach pool area was enjoyed by my 5 year old! The room was clean and smoke free! The price of the room was unbeatable for two bedrooms and a full kitchen and family area!! A definate plus!!! The location was a close drive to Disney. We will stay again!"

"We were very happy with our stay at Lake Buena Vista Resort Vilage and Spa. The only negative comment that I would have is that if you come back to the resort after the parks closed, you have a difficult time finding a parking space. Otherwise, we would recommend this resort to everyone. They were very accomadating and courteous. We will come back and stay there in the future. The rooms were gorgeous, especially the master bedroom and bath. The pool is great!! Kids enjoyed swimming in the evening after coming back from the parks."

"My husband and I were very happy with our stay at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village. We were 10 minutes from Disney and across the street from a Super Walmart. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom since they didn't have any 1 bedroom available when we checked in. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful with any questions we had. We would recommend it to our friends and family and will stay there again ifwhen we go back to Orlando."

"The property looks great in the pictures but it really is a bit shabby around the corners. Great hallways, amazing pool (the one with boat). Our 3 bedroom condo had a huge wrinkle in the carpet that everyone kept tripping on, burn marks in the carpet, glass table was dirty, mattresses and bedding on the older side. We had requested a crib which took 2 phone calls and 4 hours to deliver vs having it available upon arrival. There were also 4 sets of towels for 6 people which is the capacity we requested. It is perfectly located for access to Disney parks and to shopping if that is what you want. Kitchen is well stocked but lacked on the simple details (salt pepper?). We usually rent condos or condohotels when we travel. I can honestly say, good price but not enough value to recommend it to anyone."

"The pool is a great for family fun. My only complaint is that there was not enough hot water to barely fill the tub so no use of the jacuzzi. The staff at the desk said they would send someone and no one came."

"My family and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The children love the hotel pool. The shops surrounding the hotel were great. Eight of us enjoyed our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom suite it was very roomy. The kitchen, washer and dryer all of this was very convient it was a added plus for us. Wal-Mart was less than 5 minutes away and Disney world was about 15 minutes or less away. In the word of my children this hotel was awesome, we will stay again. If I had anything negative to say it would be we were not able to access the internet but that was very low on our list."

"We were traveling with extended family and the price was economical. My wife is particular with cleanliness and she needed the bedding changed on two of the beds, yet staff was prompt and accommodating. The room was large enough and the view from the balcony was nice. An important downside was the lack of parking which meant I had to park behind another building and walk a bit."

"The outside of the property is well kept and the pool is great for kids of all ages. We had the 3 bedroom suite it was very comfortable for 4 adults and 3 kids. There were a few maintenance issues with the room when we first arrived - they were fixed within 1 hour of calling the front desk. The room was a little dirty - hairs in shower, candy wrappers by one of the beds, kitchen floor sticky utensils dirty. Suggest that you run all dishes and utensils through washer prior to using. Be careful at the pool bar on-site grocery store. Prices for drinks and most items in grocery store are not indicated - you will find out how expensive when they ring you up. Seems like a bit of a scam - shop at one of the major retailers close by."

"We were hesitant to book at first because this place seemed too good to be true. Once we checked in, it was clear we had made the right choice. The room was amazing. The full kitchen saved us money by eating in when we were not in the parks. Our toddler had her own room, so we were free to stay up past her bedtime and not be confined to the outside area. All this for less than we have ever paid for a crammed room in the Disney area. The outlet mall was a nice getaway and we got lots of coupons at check-in. The Irish pub had GREAT food and service. We were close to Wal-Mart and there was a little store on site. The prices were very reasonable considering it was a "resort store". We went to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Both parks were extremely close and easy to get to. We live less than 2 hours away and feel we have found the perfect spot for our weekend getaways as well as our big trips. We look forward to coming back soon and are already booking our next stay in October. Our biggest fear is that the prices will skyrocket, as this hotel really was a fabulous deal for the price."

"Our reservation was for a one king bedroom with whirlpool tub and we got a 2 bedroom that had 2 double beds in one and a king with a whirlpool tub in the other. It also had a washerdryer 2 bathrooms a full kitchen, large living area and dining area. We were really suprised how quite the hotel was we really thought we were the only ones there and then you'd see a person or two. So either everyone is gone all day at Disney or the hotel is really new. The pool had a giant pirate ship for the kids to play on. The Walmart is right down the street so we stocked up on snacks and drinks. At first it looks like the hotel is in the middle of now where until you drive around and everything you need is nearby. Disney was just a short drive away the maps make it look like its far from it but its not. We loved our stay and we will stay there again."

"Me and my girlfriend stayed in the hotel from July 9-10. We were very pleased with the hotel room. The room was so massive that it felt weird not utilizing it fully. It offers so much that you really need to spend a week in the room to actually use all the space. It has a large shopping outlet that is walking distance. Massive swimming pool. Washer and dryer in the room, full kitchen with pots and pans included. Jacuzzi tub that can fit two, walk in shower. Its like 10 min drive to disney world. 5 minutes from walmart. The only negative things we have to say is that it isnt enough parking spaces. We came back in late one night and had to park across the street from our hotel. Also they didnt have small bathe towels in the room, only large ones."

"The accomodations were awesome. The layout of the room was well thought out and effeciently utilized. The location was a mere one stop light from the main road that takes you to Disney, very convenient. The only drawback was we had to pay for towel and trash service which did not happen exactly but they compensated for that by not charging us. I will definitely stay here again, the only thing I would do differently is request a room closer to the pool with the ship in the middle."

"Better than expected, very nice resort with many extra ammenities that we were not expecting. The stay here was excellent and will stay every time we come back to the orlando area."

"My family rented a 2 bedroom suite with a pullout couch and it was wonderful. The suite was very roomy and nicely decorated. My only complaint is that the jetted tub kept turning on and off by itself and we couldn't figure out why so it was kind of creepy. There wasn't much of a view, but the balcony was nice and we enjoyed the view of the orlando skyline from our 6th floor balcony. However, the bedrooms directly faced the rising sun so it was VERY bright and woke us up at 7 a.m. The beds weren't very comfy compared with other places that I have stayed, but they were clean and new. Overall, it was a good experience and I will definitely stay here again"

"Kind of hard to find the lobby to check in, especially in the dark. Other not enough parking in the front of the buildings (where all the entrances are) the rooms were great. Lots of room and very comfortable."

"My family loved this resort. The beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean and spacious. We have stayed at time shares and this was way better. Everything that you need to cook is provided. Just like you never left home. We loved this resort!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I was looking for a great place to stay close to all Orlando attractions that could accomadate family of 7. The suite was fantastic. Tv in all rooms. Kitchen was fully furnished. Tons of restaurants nearby. Loved washerdryer in unit to not go home with laundry. Staff was great checking in. Very clean inside and out. Will definetly stay again."

"We frequent Orlando every few months and have stayed in all manner of accommodations, from the concrete block no-frills motels in downtown Kissimmee to the opulent deluxe resorts on park property and everything in between. We were cautious about booking a room here as the price was a little steep for what we were seeking, but as they say you get what you pay for. The 3-bedroom suite slept 7 comfortably, the building was quiet and convenient, the pub was wonderful, and the view from the top floor was amazing. It's conveniently located next to the Lake Buena Vista Outlet Mall, which we walked to, and while close to the Disney parks and 192 it was far enough off the beaten path to be relaxing and comfortable. There was quite a bit to do at the resort itself, and even with our 3 night stay we didn't get to see half of what the resort offered. When all was said and done, the price was absolutely perfect for what we experienced, and we will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommended."

"This was our first trip to orlando, and what a wonderful place to stay. The room was extremely clean and beautiful furnishings. It is very convenient to everything, about 5 mins to downtown disney, 15 mins to convention center, and about 10 mins to medieval times. This hotel exceeded our expectations and we will stay nowhere else the next time we are in orlando."

"I loved this hotel. It was beautiful. It would be great for a romantic stay or a family. I would come back here for either reason. I enjoyed the room and the surroundings (the beautiful pools and up to date rooms). My fiance and I still cleaned out the jet tub before using it, the adult pool was in need of a vaccum, and the concierge was somewhat rude and lost my fiance's bag. The other boys up front though were very helpful and considerate, and everything else we found to be absolutely perfect. I feel I am somewhat of a "germaphobe" and I loved my stay here. The good exceedingly outweighed the bad and I hope to stay here again soon!"

"My family of five got an amazing deal for this resort. This master bedroom was huge and so comfort. It came with a nice jacuzzi tub, but it did require maintenance to come up and clean. They did provide internet service free of charge. The pool was the highlight of the stay. The pirate ship has a wonderful waterslide for children or adults, and it's a good one too. If you can get a great price, it's well worth the stay."
