"I absolutely love the Peabody Orlando. As soon as you drive up, the only word that comes to mind is luxurious. It is clean, beautiful, luxurious. My only complaint would be the noise. I just took a night to relax with my husband away from the kids and I hardly slept because of the noise. I could hear every time a toilet was flushed, every time somebody took a shower and every time a door was slammed from the surrounding rooms. It's like the walls are made of paper. I was woken up several times and at some points I was dreaming with running water because that's what I was actually hearing. Other than that, everything was perfect."

"I've been to this hotel many times, and that's why I call it home. Much of the staff there has been working for the hotel for a few years. Which shows that they treat their employees well, which also means they treat their guest even better. Even though the hotel is going through some new construction and building in addition, they still manage to keep all their hospitality and charm. This is deftly not a Motel 6 experience. And if that is what you're used to this is deftly not the hotel for you. But if you're used to being remembered and treaty like a time honored friend in a five-star setting. Then this is the hotel for you."

"The Peabody hotel isn't bad, but it was much less than we were expecting for the price and the rating. First of all, they had no on-site parking. This meant that every time we wanted to leave the hotel, we had to wait 15 minutes for the valet. Even when we called down in advance as they had suggested, we had to wait. The room was very nice, but one of the things we look for in a hotel room and one of the reasons we chose a higher end hotel was a clean bathroom...something the Peabody was lacking. It wasn't necessarily dirty, but it was in need of updating. They do have a TV in the bathroom, but it's placement made it pretty worthless. Speaking of clean, the rooms were very clean, but the housekeeping staff didn't understand that some people like to sleep past 8am. It was around that time that we were woken up by what sounded like someone swirling marbles in a plastic trash can. On the subject of rude awakenings, in place of an alarm clock, they were kind enough to wake us with an air raid siren. Apparently, it didn't occur to the staff to notify the people that didn't check in that day that they were doing a fire drill. In my panicked state, I picked up my girlfriend, threw her over my shoulder, and ran down 3 flights of stairs along with many other confused guests in their pajamas. Staying at the Peabody was an adventure..."

"There are too many hidden costs with this hotel. You pay your fee on Hotels.com and when you check in you sign a paper to pay $15.50 for incidentals. They tell you this was noted by Hotels.com ... but I did not see it anywhere. For $15.50 you get 2 small bottles of water, a shoe shine (that I did not use), wireless internet, use of the workout room, some trolley tickets (I did not use) and coffee in the AM. Went for coffee at 0832 on Saturday AM was told the complimentary coffee shuts down at 0830 but I was more than welcome to pay for a cup in the restaurant. No coffee maker in the room. When you check out you get to pay another $20.00 for valet parking ... this was the only option ... I asked at check in if I could park my own car ... was told no. Anyway the Hotel is nice ... just too many hidden costs."

"This hotel was horrible from the moment we pulled up and were turned away by the valet. We had to park a half a mile away and take a shuttle to and from the hotel every time we wanted to leave. They gave away our room and put us in a room with two queens. After entering our room and getting settled, another couple walked right in with a key from the front desk. Most suprising! We waited three hours for the manager to bring us new keys because ours were cancelled. We went to get something to eat at the hotel 24 hour restaurant and it was closed. Nothing went right at this hotel. The Peabody should be ashamed. They are not what they used to be."

Extra twenty-seven dollar plus tax, parking and accommodation fee at check in. Parking right now is off site about a mile away due to parking garage being constructed. Cleaning crew was so loud at 8:30 we could not sleep in and enjoy the 12:00 checkout time. Good view. We have stayed here before and really enjoyed it. This time not so great. Sent in a complaint and the manager directly contacted me and offered a two night stay for free as compensation. Will take them up on it! The ducks were cute. Grant it, they provided a shuttle service from the parking garage back to the hotel. I wish this was noted on the website that way i probably would not have booked my reservation with them. Once i checked in they made me prepay for my self-parking for the parking garage upon checking out they made me pay again at the garage although i had a receipt showing that i previously paid. The staff at the peabody refunded the money back. When i booked the reservation it stated online that i was going to receive a free bottle of champaign. Well needless to say it wasnt there, i called the front desk and they said they have sent up! i had to call back a hour later bc they never brought it up. I really expected more out of the peabody."

In the second room, where my teens were staying, there was a problem with the air conditioning and it got very hot in the room. We called down to the front desk for help, and their answer was to send up a fan. It took two more calls before anyone finally showed up several hours later to fix what was a simple problem with the HVAC. "Stayed last night and had a pleasant experience. The only draw back was the hidden fees. For my quoted price on a supreme room, I was given $18 to park and a $10 Hotel service fee???? A little more than I planned. Otherwise, it was clean and neat. Great looking lobby. No coffee in your room. If you want free coffee get to the lobby before 7am. Otherwise your hidden fees will increase. I would not have minded the price, had I know in advance."

"When we booked two nights at the Peabody we were expecting a romantic stay at a top quality hotel. Perhaps my expectations were too high... First, the primary complaint - the daily fee. "I stayed at the Peabody Orlando for a conference this past October. Overall it was a good experience. I used the fitness center, the spa, room service and the pool area. "After I checked into the hotel, I received a call to my room informing me they forgot to make me aware the hotel would be without power for a full day due to an expansion. This was not stated anywhere on their website nor on on the online travel website. Only one elevator was working on emergency power and I had no lights or air-conditioning. I booked this with a online travel website and was charged by them. Once my credit card bill came, The had also charged my credit card that I had on file. I would not advise staying here."
