I will be down again in Jan. When I come down I just stay at the resort. It is so nice. Why would one need to leave? We have done the attractions. Each time we used to go I could not wait to get back to the resort. We always have a good time. We come home well rested.

"Great Hotel. Very Clean. Workers are courteous. The only bad thing was they tell you at check-in that you will recieve a free gift from guest services. Then they try to have you sign for a tour of the resort. They called us constantly in the morning to attend the breakfast. Other than that. The pool stays open until one. The resort is absolutely great. Gated entrance and close to all parks and attractions."

"This hotel would be great for families going on vacation, but not ideal for a couple getting away for the weekend. The pool was really nice, but there were a lot of kids. There was nice waitress service at the pool and the food and drinks were very good and not outrageously expensive. The accomodations were nice but I don't think they were worth the money it cost to stay there. The only really disappointing thing was that our room was never cleaned. We left around 10:00am for the day and when we got back at 4:00pm no one had come to make the bed or give fresh towels. At around 4:30pm there was a knock at the door but we were in trying to rest up and get ready for the evening. We took some fresh towels but the room was never cleaned. We also got a knock at the door at around 9:30am the day of our checkout asking us when we were leaving. I didn't appreciate this. All in all it wasn't a terrible experience but not ideal."

"We have stayed in this hotel before. The last time we stayed it was awesome! Perfectly located between Disney and Sea World right next to shopping and great restaurants. This time however we ran into some problems. We went all the way to our room in the back of the property only to discover that our keys did not work, but security came and that was fine. Then we were hanging our clothes in the closet and the shelf fell. We had to call twice to have the shelf fixed only for it to fall again. The ironing boardiron holder fell out of the wall, the remotes did not work. The property has great pools and like I said last time we loved our room and stay. This time we were less than impressed. I'm not sure if we will stay there again."

"My girlfriend and I drove down to Orlando for a conference I had to attend and booked the Sheraton Vistana site-unseen. We could not believe it when we found ourselves in a palace of a one-bedroom, especially considering the price we paid. And as this is part of a time-share business, the customer service personel are all about making you so happy that you at least come back and perhaps even consider investing. Unbelievable experience! The fitness centers (2!) and the pools long enough to swim laps in will be a big hit for athletes."

"Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood that was minutes from the convention center, which I was looking for. However, when we arrive at our hotel room, it seemed clean, but upon further inspection, there was cereal bits all over the floor. So obviously they do not vacuum the carpet between customers. When the front desk was alerted, they promised to send someone to clean the room. No one came all day. We told them again the same day but were told that they cleaning staff had already left for the day. Also, clean towels were requested twice but never delivered. We only stayed there for 2 nights but paid for cleaning daily but were neglected from the moment we checked in. We will not be coming back."

"The Hotel itself was very nice. I liked the grounds and pools. The rooms were very nicely equipped. My only problem was that the "Maid Service" was lacking. I had to call twice to have my room cleaned during the six days and once they didn't even show up. The second time, they came at 8:30PM. This is not convenient when we were out all day at the parks and hoped to come home to a tidy room."

"I thought it was a great hotel, but check out time is too early, it barely leaves you time to weak up and take a shower, WE WERE IN A VACATION thats the why i won't be staying at that hotel anymore, we came back from Magic Kingdom at 12 midnight and i called and requested a late check out and they told me after 10 am they would charge $75 until 12 noon, after 12 its another day charge, i think that the fact that leaves customers like myself and my family who take a lot of vacations and trips not wanting to come back, because there is a lot of people visiting doesn't mean they can't provide an extra hour so you dont feel kicked out."

"The Sheraton Vistana Villages totally exceeded my expectations! From check-in to check-out, the friendly staff was helpful, kind and overall amazing. If you are traveling with children and planning to visit Disney World or SeaWorld, the Vistana is a perfect location. It is in walking distance to a strip mall that boasts restaurants, grocery story, liquor store and best of all a drug store for all your last minute needs. The property is magnificent! It is beautiful and well maintained. The main pool and jacuzzi is open until 1am. The hotel provides a towel service at the pool at no extra charge, when checking in be sure to ask for the activity schedule because the resort has activities for all ages...from wine tasting and cooking classes..to yoga and pilates...and a google of child friendly activities. The property also provides Charcoal BBQ grilling areas and picnic areas, hammocks overlooking the beautiful landscaped fountain pond areas...This place is a little piece of paradise nestled in Orlando! My "villa" or "room" was equipped with everything from a vacumm, coffee maker, iron...to a wine cork and can openner. This villa has EVERYTHING! But be sure to pack: extra paper towels, toilette paper, and dishwasher soap. (tip: some brands have dishwasher "cubes", easy to travel with and no mess)Also, you need to provide your own laundry detergent. The Vistana provides a sample size of all the soaps..(dishwasher, laundry, dish soap..etc.)but if you plan to stay a few days, bring some from home.
Overall, this place is wonderful, I plan to visit at least twice a year! Enjoy your stay!!! We did!"

"The Good:
- Decent quality of furnishings, buildings and surroundings
- Very comfortable (great beds, well-equipped kitchenette and dining area, in-room washerdryer)
- Good location (near Disney, restaurants, Publix, Walgreens)
- Excellent pool (even though it did not have slides etc. that are available in many other area resort hotels)
- Very good value for money at the hotels.com prepay rate The Bad:
- Very poor service (e.g. it took 3 phone calls over 90 minutes to get extra sheets for the pullout sofa-bed, and the housekeeping was erratic, often not leaving behind enough towels etc.)
- Somewhat persistent attempts to get us to interested in a vacation ownership session (even though our reservation included no such commitment)"

"Overall, this property has something for everyone. It's quite attractive to the eye, there are plenty of activities for children and adults alike. It is in a pretty good location as far as the tourist sites go. The staff all seemed very friendly. Specifically, we had a refrigerator problem late at night and their maintenance dept came to check on it and ended up replacing it for us. I was a little disappointed that management didn't follow up with us to discuss the issue. The cleaning service was quick to provide us with extra blankets and other items. Overall, I feel it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for."

We don't really expect surprises when we travel but had a great one this time...there are lots of activities planned at the resort. When we returned from our daily excursions the rooms were neat and clean and with a 5 yr. old we did leave them a mess. We had problems with one toilet not working and it was immediately fixed after we called the front desk. There was a little store on the property where we bought most of our breakfast food. The fruit and other goods were really fresh and it was so convenient. I was extremely pleased and would recommend the Sheraton Vistana Villages to anyone staying the Orlando area."

The numerous pools, basketball courts, tennis, shuffleboard, etc. were lovely. There are plenty of childrens' activities and lots of room for them to have fun. Our suite, in "The Keys" area, was quiet and...

"We really liked everything about this hotel and the staff. The pool was great for many ages, a nice playground for kids, park-like grounds are beautiful, indoor game rooms have newer games, air hockey pool tables, small market on site and the location is perfect. I do wish that the outdoor bar would have been open more, I was...

"As a Starwood preferred member, this place couldn't keep up with the standard. I would rather go to a hotel than any of these timeshare. They would charge you for anything that you expect a hotel to complement. The restaurant was really bad service with the bad food.

"1. On the morning of the checkout, my wife had called to get the checkout time extended. Her keycard was reenabled and she was able to get back in the room. However, when I went in to the reception to get our final bill, they claimed that no extended checkout was approved since there was no such entry into the...

"On a previous trip in Aug 2007, we stayed in a 3 bedroom lock-off in the Keys section and had a great experience. We loved the layout of the rooms, spacious accommodations, washerdryer in unit and kitchen. We found great rates online so our group of two families booked a one bdrm and two bedroom for 4 nights in April...

"Where should I start? The first completely frustrating thing was to realize at check-in with Dolly (who offered me promotional park tickets for being an owner!) that the only way to get the special prized tickets was by attending their annoying "owner's update" breakfast. Completely misleading, hiding information and non apologetic. I even left a message with her manager since...
