"We were welll pleased with our accomodations; the room was large, clean, and a great view. Tthe pool area was exceptional and the beach was clean and the sand beautiful. At night they had a family friendly hula show and fire dance. We would definitely stay here again"

"We had a great time, but the hotel is a little dated. The furniture was in bad condition and the walls are stuco and the have collected dust in the ceiling and around the top were the ceiling meets the wall. The bed was pretty good, but the mattress was very old. Our overall rating for this hotel would be three stars, but with the necessary upgrades it could be a five star hotel. The food was good, but as we were paying we noticed a huge cock roach crawling up the wall near the air conditioning control and our waitress killed it with her hand. I feel these are things that are fixable and theses things will not deter me from visiting it again."

"My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida for the second time this year and we really enjoyed ourselves both in February and this past month of August. The room was very clean and smelled like laundry detergent when we walked in, and I love the sea kelp soap they leave for you in the bathroom! The atmosphere was great for adults and children alike with tons of activities for the kids, and the pool was beautiful! This is my favorite hotel in the area, and we hope to stay here on all our beach vacations in the future!"

"Our family stayed here in August of 2008 and it was wonderful! We traveled with our 2 children who are 1 and 3 yrs of age and they had a blast. All of the rooms are ocean front and have gorgeous views (unless you stay on the lower levels and then your view will be obstructed by palm trees). There is a nice little tiki bar on the walk to the beach from the hotel where you can sit and watch the ocean. The pool is wonderful and has a waterfall, there are 2 large hot tubs beside the pool and the Aqualand for children is AWESOME! We spent most of our time there and the children had a blast! All day long by the pool they have music (DJ or singers) and activities for children! They also give away free cake, cookies, watermelon, and have free water with lemon all day long! There is a grill by the pool that offers a variety of food (pizza, hot dogs, burgers, fries, shrimp...) and up to 4 children can eat free with the purchase of an adult meal!!! Every evening by the pool they have a torch lighting ceremony with Polynesian dancers and then they bring out a movie screen and show a different cartoon or family movie by the pool every night and give away free popcorn! You can also watch the nightly movie from your balcony (depending on the room you stay in, we had a great view of the movie). It truely was a wonderful stay and am looking forward to going back next year!"

"This hotel is a great place to stay with kids. They have activities for the kids to do through out the day. In the evening time they show a movie by the pool on a big screen you can swim and watch or set on the pool deck. They have a lot of security people always walking around. Adults and children have to wear a bracelet at all times (showing that they are staying there). When coming back in from the ocean the security guard will ask to see it to let you back to the hotel area. It is a safe place to stay. While there the beach was closed for three days due to the currents and they still had things to do to keep them busy at the hotel. Will be staying again!!!!"

The Hotel was in great shape, the pools were excellent, and for anyone with kids the aqua land is the best idea I have ever seen at a motel. The staff was very courteous and prompt and would go out of there way to help you. I love the dancing at night and the movies on the big screen. There were live bands playing all the favorite beach music. There is so much to do at this motel you find your self not wanting to leave. "WOW!! We stayed in Panama City Beach at the Holiday Inn Sunspree and the hotel is fabulous.
With two kids and my husband there was entertainment for all of us. The kids loved their
waterpark that is part of the resort. No extra fees as some I have seen. The activities staff did a fantastic job with the kids program, I am very pleased that they had so much going on.
Also live poolside music everyday of our stay which was my favorte part. Our kids ate free and the convenience of a full size refridgerator in the room saved us lots of money on food.
Beachfront rooms with the most amazing views of the ocean, it was incredible. Furniture in the rooms needs to be updated but room was very clean and the entire staff was extremely friendly. We will be back and willl tell others about this place!"

"I travelled with 2 teenage girls for spring break. I was not prepared for the decibel level of the music that blared from morning 'til night. The hotel had excellent security all over the place - They were checking wristbands so that only hotel guests could use the facilities. The staff was very helpful with my internet connection - which was very good by the way - However, my cell phone reception was horrible!! No reception in our room or on the balcony. I couldn't use the phone by the pool because the music was so loud. My daughter couldn't hear her phone ringing on the beach either because the music on the beach was so loud. Be prepared for sand EVERYWHERE!"

"Stayed here in Feb. 2008. Beautiful location, all the rooms have a great view of the Gulf of Mexico, staff was great...only disppointing feature was we arrived in mid-February and it appears the hotel does NOT cater to winter travelers. The pool was not heated so taking a swim even in 70 degree sunshine was not possible, the 'hot tub' was luke warm, the pool side tiki bar was closed, the advertised breakfast buffet wasn't available. Very disappointing! Being from the north we would have liked to take advantage of the Florida sun and warm weather to take an occasional swim but in all honesty the Gulf was warmer. We spoke with the manager about the lack of a heated pool and the 'cool' tub, he indicated that it was "too" expensive to heat the pool. In previous stays at this hotel everything was open in February making our stay more pleasant because of this we decided to stay elsewhere. A shame really because this hotel is right on the beach road and close to restaurants and shopping. I certainly would recommend this hotel if they took care of their winter guests and at least had some of their amenities open, even if on a limited time basis."

"I was a little nervous when I first cheked in because it seemed as if the resort belonged to the love bugs.......THEY WERE EVERY WHERE. I had to change rooms twice! A member of the staff informed me the best time to come and avoid the love bugs was April or May. I will keep that in mind next year. The rest of the trip was WONDERFUL. Live music throughout the day, games for the kids and the sunset torch lighting ceremony every evening was very entertaining.
The staff also made all the difference. From the jamming DJ (who gave complimentary CD's), to the nice beach chair rental guy Vaghnn....the staff's hospitality was GREAT. The Customer Service Manager was also AWSOME.....get to know the staff!
I will be back next year in April (avoiding the love bugs hopefully). I had a wonderful trip."

"We were not aware when we made our reservations that it was bike week and a company was having a convention. The Hotel was great and the staff wonderful and the best view. Our grandson had a wonderful time. The only problem we had was due to bike week and the convention it was very noisy at night and difficult to sleep. "The Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort is fantastic, and I can't wait to stay again. We stayed in September, so the price was a GREAT value for the location. All of the rooms have balconies facing the Gulf! The pool is wonderful, clean, and shaded in the mornings, which is wonderful. The kid's waterpark is amazing, my son really enjoyed himself. The one place this hotel could use a lot of improvement is their in-house restaurant breakfast buffet. The service was awful - we had to get our own high chair, get our own sugars and silverware from other tables, and asked 4 times to get our coffee and waters refilled. Also, the buffet is not a good value for the money. Other than that, this hotel was absolutely perfect. The employees are helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean, the air conditioners work, which is important in Florida! Also, all of the rooms have full refrigerators, which is very, very important when you're traveling with a baby. I'd stay again any time!"

"Great place to stay!!!: This hotel is great for families!! THe rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Great view!! The younger kids loved the kids water area, and the older ones really loved the pool the beach. Lots of programs for the kids. Only thing was the food prices aer a little steep, 10.00 for a hamburger, and the restaurant buffet on weekends was 27.00 a person. Other than that, it was great. We will be staying there again in the future!!"

"Good for Everyone: I have stayed at the Holiday Inn sunspree for the last three summers and I feel like it is a good location for what ever you are searching for. If you have children, want to relax or just want to party this hotel offers something for everyone! The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The pool is so much fun with music and games and if you just want to relax you can rent a beach chair and soak up the beautiful scenery! Have a great time!! This place is awesome!"

"love the hotel, just not the rooms: I loved the hotel they have a lot going on, tug-a-war,water fights,great food and drinks! I just did not like our room that much, but it did not matter to me about the room bc we where not in it unless we where asleep. I will be back this summer."

"Can't wait to get back.: Everything was kept very clean. My wife and I felt very safe during our stay the whole time. We really did'nt need to leave for anything that we needeed."
