And casual dining fare at Emeril's, Wolfgang Puck's, and The Studio Cafe guarantees something for every appetite.
You'll have access to exciting, original shows like KA, the unprecedented new spectacle from Cirque du Soleil, and Las Vegas' biggest entertainment venue the Grand Garden Arena. The MGM Grand Garden Arena is home to concerts, championship boxing and premier sporting and special events, and is also home to the annual FOX Billboard Music Award and the annual Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children Benefit.
Catch the hottest acts at the intimate 740-seat Hollywood Theatre. With a dramatic entryway, vaulted ceiling and velvet curtains, and plush red booths surrounding the 1,800 square foot stage, the Hollywood Theatre is home to world class entertainment and internationally acclaimed shows nightly, attracting some of today's top performers including Tom Jones, David Copperfield and Howie Mandel.
And now you can thrill to MGM Grand's Crazy Horse Paris - in which beautiful dancers in breathtaking choreography combine with stunning light displays and film to re-invent the female form as art - an awe-inspiring celebration of the art of the nude. Only MGM Grand offers this caliber of entertainment options in Las Vegas.
Come alive at hotter nightclubs like Studio 54 - the legendary '70s nightclub in a modern interpretation, blending high-energy music with a wilder scene than the '70s ever had - and hipper bars like the new ultra lounge, Tabu, where you're invited but your inhibitions aren't. Internationally renowned DJs conjure a cool and casual vibe and stunning models/servers tempt with nouveau classic cocktails. Are you ready for a nightspot that's too hot to touch?
Drink in the cool elegance of martini bar Zuri or groove to the progressive beats at Centrifuge. Savor the sizzling servers and cocktails of Rouge, or relax and unwind in the hip West Wing Bar. It's all up to you.
Rest, rejuvenate, get fit and get pampered in the MGM Grand Spa, the MGM Fitness Center and the Cristophe Salon, or with In-room Massage Service. Or take advantage of the Grand Pool Complex, five shimmering swimming pools, three whirlpools and a meandering river, surrounded by lush foliage, bridges, fountains and waterfalls.
Other amenities include Hollywood Theatre, Lion Habitat, Spa, Christophe Salon and Pool, laundry service, a full-service beauty salon, currency exchange, safety deposit box.
MGM Grand prides itself not on a theme, but on delivering a pure, amplified, Las Vegas experience. It's Las Vegas to the nth degree. Ladies and gentlemen, this is maximum Vegas.
** Maximum stay is 14 nights - MGM Grand will not honor a booking longer than 14 nights. **
A Resort Fee of $10 plus tax per night will be charged at the front desk. The resort fee includes: complimentary high speed Internet; $15 beverage credit per stay available at any MGM owned bar; daily newspaper USA Today available at Front Page newsstand; unlimited local and toll free calls; complimentary printing of boarding passes - Concierge or Business Center; Business Center Services - copies, faxes, and notary (limited). On Dec 13, 2010, resort fee will increase to $18 for all stays arriving on or after Jan 3, 2011.

The MGM Grand is just that, GRAND!!! Put on your walking shoes because the casino covers lots of space. Valet can be an experience in itself on a busy night. On the good side, Valet is fast and efficient. The rooms are average size and located near the back of the hotel. Gaming , shows and the Lion Habitat are all located on the main lobby floor. The signs pointing out directions can be a bit confusing so make sure that you don't wander too far off from your intended direction. The staff is very helpful from the maids to the casino floor staff. There will be lots of people so be prepared to deal with a crowd if you are here during the weekend.

Technically stayed at the Signature at MGM. Nice rooms. MGM itself is a great place to get lost in...if you want to come to Vegas and never have to step outside but get a complete vacation...MGM is for you.

Please David Copperfield, perform your awesome magic and land me at The MGM Grand..which is Las Vegas #1 destination. When I stay there,I already have Lady Luck on my side. People, check out there suites, the Terrace suite is the only room....heck its two stories,it will knock your socks off. NGN is a mission of love. The R. O. I,"return on investment"is soooooo worth it. FYI. You deserve it...I know I'm worth it. Have fun. Hey,what are you waiting for??? Dial them up and book your "Good Times""

MGM is *the* foodie destination in Vegas. So many great restaurants, you don't need to leave! However, the last time we were there Craftsteak took the top spot for favorite dining experience in Vegas. The bartender was amazing and gave us a "tour" of their amazing selection whiskey and bourbons. Our service and meal from start to finish was flawless and every bite was amazing. We were even talked into dessert!

I love MGM.. not a fan of KA... its my least favorite of all the Cirque shows.. Of all the resturants owned my the MGM and I've tried them all, my fav is the Grand Wok... perhaps the best dang Orange Chicken I've ever eatten!! The kimchi is good to, even though they dont make it! Cant wait for superbowl weekend and UFC 126!!

MGM - please pass along a sincere thanks and job well done to the Knob Hill staff. We were in on Tuesday night (twice) for drinks and then late night drinks and snacks. Our bartender Michael Harold was fantastic! He made us a special spicy martini with muddles jalape

Hey People, run don't walk...no place like MGM Grand. I love their property and make it a "Girls Getaway". Your gal pals will love the pamper from the spa. Hope you have fun. In my family the MGM Grand is the only "House" because we always win. X0x0

So is it normal to check into your room at MGM and get to your room and find That your keys don't work? After security let me in I notice stuff left behind from the last person to stay there. Went to reception and Was told that I was misinformed about what room I was supposed to be in. So packed everything up and had to ...switch rooms. Let's just say that MGM has not impressed me today. And I'm still here for 6 nights. Wondering if I should cancel some of my stay and book somewhere else.
by
Janine
on 2011-01-30
Everytime our keys wouldn't work , we had to go down to the desk, stand in a long line, have them reactivated and hear a lecture on how it must be our fault because we must have let it rub up against a credit card etc. etc. We had horrible front desk service. That was May 2010, we have since booked several trips back, but never to MGM again.

I recommend you stay in any hotel that is not MGM. Station Casinos are really good. Stay at the Wynn if you wanna be on the Strip

Long waits for taxis and even longer waits for room service. It's a gated complex so cabs don't go by all da time. Long walk to MGM too. Wouldn't stay at Signature again.

heard on the news a lion attacked someone at the MGM Grand in Vegas. When my husband and I stayed there he made fun of me cuz I wouldn't go near the glass they were behind, I don't know those lions like that, who's idea was it to put lions in a freakin hotel lobby anyway?!

I think MGM's hotel should consider making their bathroom floors less slippery somehow or put some non-slip bathroom rugs. I slipped and sprained my foot. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It just happened yesterday before we checked out.

"Our first time at the MGM, and it was great! The bed was amazing!!! No aches and pains in the morning. It was as if we were sleeping in a cloud. At first I had my doubts because of the size of and huge parking structure(lots of walking), but it you park close to the escalators closest to the casino, it's a breeze. The only noticeable flaw was the pipes in the bathroom, you could hear the water when the visitors in the next room turned on the water."

"We went to Vegas for a short girls weekend. We stayed at the hotel almost the whole time. We took a cab to another place for a concert, but we came right back as soon as the concert was over. We had a blast. The only complaint was we were on the 17th floor and the last day and a half there were only 3 of the 6 elevators working. It took forever to leave. There were about 50 people waiting on our floor at 11 a.m. on Sunday ready to leave and every elevator was packed. As soon as the staff realized what was happening, the quickly let us to the service elevators and had all of us down in 10 minutes. We had a ton of fun at Tabu and the pool. We had a blast! I wouldn't stay with kids, but for a fun getaway with friends it was great!"

"The Bungalow Queen Suite was described with big words and upon entering the "Room" we were greatly disappointed. I would rather pay for a regular room and get one than pay twice as much and get a regular room with an extra TV. The Bungalow and the Suite were just marketing gimmicks, it did have 2 queen beds and they were nice and comfy. The drain in the restroom was blocked and they didnot have another room to move us into so we were given complimentary buffet passes instead, the buffet was average. So was our stay. I would not be going back, specially since there are so many other cheaper and better options around."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff helpful and even despite the high activity levels, the room was quiet and peaceful.. I'm not sure how they accomplish that, but it was a welcome bit of peace in a busy crazy town! The only issue we had was with the pools. They were incredibly packed, to the point of discomfort and it was difficult to get around at all there. The hours at the pool are very short, especially when you consider it was over 100 degrees out every day of our 5 day stay, and the only somewhat peaceful pool there closed so early even though there were literally people standing in every foot of the only other adult pool at the time."

"I stayed at this hotel only after some fiends choose it because of the Lazy river. I was seriously disappointed I paid the money I did. I had stayed at the Palazzo last year for around the same price I paid this year for the MGM. They only have suites at that hotel and each room came with 3 flat screen TV's. The rooms at the MGM are very basic no frills, almost like they have not been updated in many years. Worst of all the rooms do no have great sound proofing. I could hear every work my neighbors said. If you walked down the hall their were also exposed air vents that were like microphones to peoples rooms. I have stayed at Hyatt place properties that are amazing. MGM is maybe worth $100 a night for a basic room but no more."

"If you arrive at the airport, there are no hotel shuttles there. You have to pay for city shuttle service, taxi, etc...If you arrive on Saturday or Sunday be expecting long lines to check into the hotel. Same for checking out. If you arrive during mid week it won't be so bad. Do not sit anywhere on the floor in this hotel to look for keys in your purse or bag because the security service at this hotel are extremely rude. They try to act like FBI agents. Meals are good at all the restaurants but very expensive. If you gamble, be sure to comp your meals through the Player's Club, which I think is undermanned. Long lines at Players' Club. Going to Studio 54 and the like is extremely expensive and drinks in there are $20.00 apiece. I would rather be further up the strip in the middle of things versus walking long distances."

The big draw for us was the lazy river but it doesnt open until 10 am and closes at 6 pm which is a big bummer when your driving in simi late and want to go for a dip in the pool. They do have regular pools but even they close at 8 pm. Also if you want to use an inner tube for the long lazy river they dont allow outside tubes and the ones they rent are huge, $16 and way too big for a child under 100 lbs. I did notice MANY people brought in smaller inner tubes and no one said a word. Next time we may try that."

I was shocked and very offended. The security guard walked away and I remained very insulted. I located the security guard as he was standing with a co worker and explained how I was very insulted. He was unappologetic and changed his story saying I bit my companion on the neck at the bar, which had nothing to do with the reason he approached us, which he origianlly cliamed was for falling asleep. I went to hotel registration and complained but dont feel like they did anything about it. Hotel security needs to ahve better tact when dealing with customers and needs to take a moment and realize whats really going on before approaching people and making assumptions."

"MGM Grand Grand was overall a very nice hotel. It's soooo big, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have troubles with all the walking. The rooms were very nice, comfortable beds, in-room safe, fast room service. The pools felt like about a mile of a walk, though, and were crowded when we were there......probably best to go very early. The staff members that we encountered were all very friendly and eager to help. My only complaint was that the registration counter at the airport was closed when we arrived at 4:00 PM, and check-in ended up taking much longer than expected at the hotel."

"I was very happy with everything at the MGM Grand. When I booked my reservation, I saw a lot of bad reviews. We had stayed there about 6 years ago and I expected the place to have become very run down, according to the reviews I read. I decided to stay there anyway because we were bringing a foreign exchange student on his first visit to Las Vegas, and we wanted him to experience the Lazy River pool. We got there at about 1pm on a Saturday, and I was very pleasantly surprised to find that valet parking was FREE, the check-in lines were short (the whole process was completed in max. 20 minutes), and we were able to get into our room immediately. I did see later, at about 4pm, that the check-in lines were a lot longer, but I don't know how fast they were going.
The room was great. The air conditioning and plumbing worked perfectly (we were in room 21-136 in the main tower), the beds were extremely comfortable, the room was perfectly clean and it was also very spacious.
Later on, we ate dinner at the buffet. The food was more than decent, although not in the same quality category as the best buffets in Las Vegas, and it was a bit expensive for the quality, but overall we were very satisfied with it. The only small complaint I had was that the pool area, especially the lazy river pool, was a madhouse. There were many large groups of 20- or 30-something singles, possibly celebrating weddings, who were loud, raucous and inebriated. In some ways that made it a lot of fun, but it definitely wasn't a relaxing experience. We didn't go to any of the other pools, so maybe they were calmer and less crowded. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel and the location was great, in the midst of all the highlights of the Las Vegas strip."

We called engineering and they said they would be right up - they never came. We called thje manager and he said they would take care of everything right now including an upgraded room if we didn't mind a smoking room. We don't smoke and that wouldn't work. "Me and a couple girlfriends stayed at the MGM on a last-minute Vegas trip for the 4th of July. We arrived 2 hours before check-in time and our room was already available - score! The front-desk staff was VERY friendly and the check-in line wasn't ridiculously long, which was nice after a 3 12 hour drive.
Our room was on the 8th floor and was large and very clean. The beds were quite cozy and the bathroom was great. We had a lame view of a low, rock covered rooftop and our room was VERY far from the elevator (there is one central elevator which is lame), but those were the only negatives.
We spent the day at WET Republic which is their outdoor swimming area which has multiple pools - a cool pool with a DJ, a couple kiddie pools, an "adult" pool, various other pools, outdoor bars, a lazy river, rentable cabanas etc - it was a great time! Lame that the pools close pretty early (between 5 - 7 pm) which makes NO sense!
The hotel is centrally located on the strip and seems a lot less smokey in the casino area than other hotels - they must have a really good ventilation system which is nice.
We got back to our room after a long night of partying and we all slept great and were able to get complimentary late checkout at 1:00 pm. We called down to valet to pull our car around and it was waiting for us when we got down there.
It was one of the 3 least expensive large hotels ON the center strip for that night and was well worth the stay. Will definitely go again!"

A positive was that gambling area was spread out, so I never felt claustrophobic in the slots areas. To get to the pool was a bit of a walk, but worth it!!! "Not only did we enjoy our stay, but I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travling with a handicap family member. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist with all of my mothers needs. Very handicap friendly. I would highly recommend the food pass at the Excaliber which is also part of the MGM chain. The cost was $25 per person, which covered all meals and drink, not to mention that you could eat from open to close. The on offered at the MGM had time restrictions."

"The west wing of the hotel was recently renovated to an ultra modern decor. Small but unbelievable room... tv in bathroom mirror. Fabulous shower, the bed was extremely comfortable wside of headboard controls for the lighting. Room service was great! Also, clubs were amazing! Room was so comfortable it was hard to leave it!!"

"Stayed in the West Wing King, it was a tad bit dated, the dresser drawer was broken and hangin from its hinges, scale and phone in bathroom was broken, there was no flat screen tv as promised, the walk from the front desk was long and no help with our bags was offered, definetly not worth the money spent......"

"Would not stay here again, not what I expected, didn't even get what was offered. First off the walk to the room was so far away from front desk, we were not offered help with our bags, upon arriving to the room it was a tad bit dated. The dresser drawers were falling off the hinges, bathroom scale was not working, the phone in the bathroom also out of order, staff was polite though.....It was so not worth the amount of money spent..."

"The room was great! The bathroom was big and everything was elegant and very clean. We got a great deal on the room, and it would have been worth it even if we paid full price. The pool was unimpressive, but that wasn't why we went. The staff was very friendly and we had a great time!"

"After checking into the room which was very warm (it was 100 outside) I found the floor outside the bathroom wet,we were given a new room also warm even though the air was on full blast(didn't blow very hard). Bed was ok but we were tired after driving over 8hrs. Next am we asked the maid who was outside our door to please leave the curtains closed so it would be cool when we came back, but no they were wide open, since it was 107 outside the room was toasty! Because they had to change our room we were comped all day pass for the buffet. great right? The buffet was boring, tasteless, the salad bar was hardly there dessert were shameful not kid friendly at all(there were alot of kids there) Overall for a 4star hotel and the price we were very disapointed, we've stayed in Vegas many times and were very unhappy this time."

"Clean room, friendly staff, just poor wait services took forever to get drinks the whole time we were there, believe they have cut back on staff, had to wait over 35 minutes to check in. Rooms clean, just way to long walk to rooms. Didn't have rooms available for extra night moved to another hotel, PH, it was great and we will be staying there from now on."
