"This hotel was clean. Had a Miss something or another contest going on there, so the common areas were very crowded, and noisy. The hotel was close to where I needed to be and is also close to subways as well as the Brooklyn and Manhatten Bridges. Seemed a little high in price for the location."

"Parking was a breeze and reasonable for NY. Room larger than I expected for NY. Pool pleasant -- but only a quick stop for kids (not big enough for a long time). Starbucks in the lobby -- very pleasant staff -- comfortable sleeping I've come to expect from Marriott. We'll stay here and only here, I think, when visiting NYC -- even if it's a bit of a train ride (stop is one, one and a half block walk . . .) to major destinations like times square."

"I chose this hotel because it was close to where my daughter lives in Brooklyn Heights. It was very convenient to the subway lines that I needed to get to Manhattan and close to the shops and restaurants on Montague St. The room was larger than others I have stayed in in Manhattan for the same price, and I appreciated the refrigerator. It was nice that when we arrived at 9 am they let us check in. I had two small complaints. First, they didn't have the two-bedded room I reserved and told me (they didn't ask) that they were giving me a king room and sending up a rollaway (there were 3 in my party). And second, they didn't have complimentary coffee and tea available. Even the Marriott resorts I have stayed in (that charge for absolutely everything) provided that. Overall, however, the hotel met my expectations. I would definite stay again."

"This hotel is excellent, most especially the way the staff treat their guests. Beginning from the check in, to just going in and out of the hotel, the staff greet you with courtesy and friendly. The only downside of the hotel is the neighborhood; it's just a block away from Fulton Mall street, which at night time is kind of scary. Along Tillary Street side of the hotel is very nice; it's less crowded and traffic is light. Cost wise, it is rather expensive. It should offer more affordable rooms for guests who only stay for a day or two, like in the case of myself and my husband. We chose the Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge because it's very close to LIU, where we had to pick up our daughter. I suppose we had to choose between convenience and cost. Overall, the hotel, staff, and service are commendable."

The fitness center pool was closed and the fitness center attendant did not even show up in the morning to open up. The hotel staff could care less. In fact, every step of the way, the hotel staff cared little about the guest experience. Their only concern was how much they could chage you for even the smallest amenity."

It is located very conveniently in Brooklyn Heights, near many cute shops and restaurants, a short walk from the promaenade and Brooklyn Bridge, and 2 blocks from the subway and a 20 minute ride to Times Square. The room was quiet (we were on the 9th floor), with very comfy beds and a spacious room - especially for NY! The fitness center was great with lots of equipment and convenient hours! We would definitely stay here again, and recommend this hotel to others!"

Perhaps most of all, especially for people not used to big cities, you can feel safe. We cant wait to stay there again. Oh, and our son thought it was great too!"

Food was expensive, but roomservice always is. We had the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. It was quiet and clean and the room was huge! Concierge was helpful and pleasant and even called around to indian restaraunts to see if anyone could deliver for us! The only bummer for us was a 5$ charge to have any toiletries etc. brought up to the room. We will come back here again and again!!"

"Great Place, I LOVE BROOKLYN!!!! it was my first time in new york and went there to catch a couple of yankees games since ive been a life long fan and never been to the stadium. i have always wanted to stay in Brooklyn, and i am sooo glad that i stayed at the Marriott. we requested an early check in and were greated warmly by the staff when checking in and were treated to some of the best chocolate chip cookies ive ever had. the staff was so friendly recommending subway routes and local restaurants and coffee shops, the great thing about this hotel besides the great staff is the location. a block away from the Fulton Street Mall and from Burough Hall, and you are walking distance from Juniors (Cheesecake) Restaurant and the ever so famous Brooklyn Bridge. If you ever want to stay in Brooklyn i highly recommend this hotel clean, safe, and greatfriendly people that are willing to help you out with whatever you need. they even held our luggage on the morning we checked out so we could go to Juniors to eat. Great hotel i will definately be staying here when i come back to New York next year. Traveler's tip on shopping Highly recommend that if you stay here to walk to the Fulton Street Mall and to also go to Juniors. Juniors is a great restaurant and you have to try their cheesecake its on Flatbush a block east of the Fulton Street Mall."
