We enjoy the theatre and we just returned from a five day trip and again we stayed at the Doubletree Times Square hotel. We believe this is the best hotel in New York and we will definitely continue booking our future stays at the Doubletree. The entire staff makes a tremendous effort to make guests feel welcomed. Stayed in this hotel on May 3rd - May 7th this year, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations on EVERY level, the location, the rooms, the service, were superb. Loved the cookie for sure but in NYC it's all about location, location, location! It just doesn't get any better than the Doubletree Times Square! And the staff is very efficient also and the suites themselves are amazing!

"The hotel was great, the staff was very friendly and informative. The location was fantastic my husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We went into the city to see a Broadway play, and the hotel was only two blocks from the theater. There's plenty of shopping, and amazing restaurants. The view from our room was perfect could see all of time square."

"We checked in late at our choice because the rooms were being used for interviews. They offered upgrade in room and free breakfast. We got to our room and it was dirty. I called main desk and they said they would send someone up. We returned one hour later and it still was dirty. After the second call someone cleaned the bathroom. I cleaned the living area."

"This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Location could not be better. Right in the heart of times square. The hotel has a yellow line subway station next to it, a TKTS booth right in front and broadway theathers just steps from it. Room was big and comfortable. Excellent view of the city and Times Square. Can't wait to come back!"

"If you are interested in being in the middle of the New York experience this is the right place. The Doubletree Suites is located right in the hub of Times Square. I traveled with my two adult children and the room was clean and roomy as was the two sink bathroom.If you are looking for a hotel with a fancy restaurant, bar, and lobby the Doubletree is not for you. We used the city for our food and drink. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again."

"The hotel and location were outstanding! Staff and service were great. The only tricky part is unloadingloading your bags from your car during check-inout. NY police were giving citations if your car was parked in front of the hotel for even a minute. It's just a really crowded street in front of the hotel (Times Square!) and i understand the police want to keep things moving, but the hotel is going to have to come up with a better arrangement than having their guests checking in and receiving a parking ticket before they've even walked in the door. Everything else about the hotel was great!"

"This hotel was way beyond my expectations. Having never stayed in NYC, I expected a tiny room, very few amenities, and poor service, so Doubletree Suites was a wonderful surprise. The service at the front desk was great; we asked for and received a room on a high floor with a view; the room was spacious and clean; and, their bedding was excellent and we slept really well. There was no street noise, although we did open the windows briefly to get a little "flavor" of the city. If you want to stay in the literal "heart" of this great city, Doubletree is the way to go. The only negative (and it's not a big one) was that the lobby was drab and outdated. I would also recommemd Sbarros, right across the street, for a hearty, reasonably-priced breakfast, and their pizza and cheesecake are out-of-this-world. One other amazing thing is that the hotel actually sits on a theater whose current show was "West Side Story"."

"Two adults with four children under the age of 10 with room to move. Great location, doorman attentive, luggage stowage available until room available (which we were given 4 hours before we were told.) The price was on the higher side but cheaper than getting two rooms side by side at other hotels with this service. I would look for this hotel first before checking with any other one in NYC for a family. We have stayed many times in NYC and this has been the best for us that we have found."

"This was my first time at the double tree in times square. the guest service was very friendly and helpful, and the welcome cookies were a plus. the room was also a lot bigger than i was expecting. all the previous places i stayed at (for a much greater price) were less than half the size. and most importantly you cant beat the location, right in the middle of times square with a subway station right next door. it was a great experience and i would definitely stay there again, and recommend to everyone."

"My wife, 18 year old daughter and I all enjoyed this hotel. It was a great value in that I didn't need to pay for two rooms because of the suite set up. The location is unbeatable. The theater, restaurants and ease of access to all of manhattan is great. The subway is right there. I would stay there again."

"Very helpful staff, great location, comfortable rooms and you have to love the warm chocolate chip cookies they hand you when checking in. Only(small) complaint is there are no drawers or storage space in the large 2-sink bathroom, so the toiletries of 4 women piled up on the countertop."

"Outstanding Hotel smack in the middle of Times Square. Staff is excellent but the extremely slow (11 mbs) wireless internet service marred an otherwise wonderful visit. The Hotel needs to offer a faster connection, either wired or wireless for me to consider staying there in the future. To add insult to injury, the daily rate of $12.95 is one of the highest in the area."

"This was my first time lodging at Doubletree. The hotel staff was very friendly courteous. Check in was very smooth and efficient. The warm cookies were delicious. Conceriege was awesome and extremely helpful always offering suggestions and recommendations for things to do attractions to see. I would definitely stay again at this hotel; the subway is right outside the door and across the street at Olive Garden. Security at this hotel was professional. Next year when I return I am going to make plans to lodge at Doubletree. The rooms were clean; nice size, comfortable beds and was on the 12th floor overlooking Time Square. The service was just fantastic."

"It's the prefect location for a tourist. The metro is literally next door and Times Square was right outside our window. We were able to walk to all the locations we planned on seeing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying here from out of town. The room was very clean and the housekeeper even left us a note thanking us for the tips we would leave. I am planning another trip to NYC and I will be staying here again."

"I did not think that it was possible to get such a great hotel in the middle of Times Square at such a price. The hotel is very clean, and feels safe since the lobby is on the 3rd floor. Would absolutely recommend it to others, and stay there again."

"For the price, a very large room (seperate bedroom, seating area) in the middle of Times Square and very quiet for the location. No complaints, I would recommend."

"OF COURSE, I WOULD LOVE TO GET A COMPLIMENTARY STAY FOR WRITING THIS....ALL JOKING ASIDE, I READ REVIEWS ON THIS HOTEL AS WELL AS OTHERS AND THIS IS THE HOTEL I CHOSE. IT PAYS TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK WHEN CHOOSING A PLACE TO LAY YOUR HEAD. CLEANLINESS, SECURITY , PEACEFULNESS IN HEART OF TIMES SQUARE. WHO-DUV-THUNK-IT??? KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!"

"We were a group of 4 women on a tour of NYC and the hotel was great. It's centrally located to everything. At night when the streets were full because it is in such a busy location we appreciated the fact it was checked for security reasons to show our room pass to get into the hotel. Our flight from Florida arrived in the early AM and the hotel accommodated our luggage till check in time that afternoon so we could visit the city. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone."

"Great place for the money! Got the premium view (above 20th floor - hotel has 49 floors); very clean and contemporary; nice suite - two full beds, sofa sleeper, great drapes to keep the night lights out; two sinks in a bathroom that's accessible via the living room or the bedroom; two flat screen TVs, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator; extra sink came in handy! Hotel staff was absolutely delightful. Got late checkout with no extra fees - go ahead and ask! They'll give it if they can. Yeah, cookies at check-in was a pleasant surprise."

"We were very pleased with the location right in Time Square! It was very easy to get to. They parked the car and catered to our every need! After driving through the city traffic, we were a little stressed but the warm cookie upon arrival took the edge off imediately. What a wonderful mini vacation. We split the cost among 4 woman and the room had ample space."

"Large spacious clean rooms. Must be well insulated because we could hardly hear any street noise on the 24 th floor. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

"THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT, THE CONDITIONS AND COMFORT OF THE HOTEL WERE VERY GOOD TOO, THE PEOPLE WERE VERY NICE, BUT THEY DID NOT PUT NEW SHAMPOO AND NEW BODY CREAM EVERY DAY, ONLY IN THE FIRST DAY. FORTUNATELY, MY FRIEND HAD HER OWN STUFF, AND WE COULD SHARE. IN THE DOUBLE TREE OF CHICAGO IT WAS THE SAME PROBLEM. I DO NOT KNOW IF THEY ARE DOING IT RECENTLY."
