"Very impressed with this Hotel. Great Manager's Happy Hour, great indooroutdoor pool and within walking distance to one of our favorite restaurants, Darryls (Greensboro location). Would defiantely stay here again!"

"Okay, so it is not the Ritz Carlton, but a great value for the price. I appreciated that pets were allowed, even though I did not bring my Yorkie this trip.
All the employees were pleasant and greeted each guest.
The parking lot was very secure. Entry and exit required a pass from the hotel, and the parking lot had cameras.
The room and bath area were small but very clean and modern - the room even had a flat panel tv. The bed was comfortable with a variety of pillows. I really appreciated that (a clean room). They did not supply shampoo, lotion and shower caps, but they did supply hair dryers and soap- the basics.
I do not recommend the breakfast buffet if you are expecting fine dining. It is simply a free meal; that is all I can say. I ate fruit and biscuits.
Unfortunately, the guests next door (who were there for a convention) were rowdy and disturbed our rest until we contacted the front desk. They responded promptly and diffused the situation. When the behavior resumed, the front desk responded again making it clear to the offenders that they would be asked to leave if the behavior continued. They also contacted the agency that booked the convention about these guests. The hotel appologized for the inconvenience and reversed the charges for our stay. That could have occurred at any hotel. I appreciated the way that the matter was handled. It resulted in a free stay, but I really would have preferred a good night's sleep :-)."

"Our first visit to Greensboro. We were in town to see the Grateful Dead on Easter night. The hotel was the perfect place to stay for this concert. We arrived on saturday and we were just in time for the free adult beverages. What a great welcome that was after 8 hrs. on the road. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The Bar tender gave us great ideas for eating dinner in the area. The room was extremely clean, beds were comfortable and the free hour of long distance was useful. The computers in the lobby were very helpful to keep up on e-mail, facebook, The Dead set lists, etc..... We enjoyed the breakfast on sunday and monday. The free breakfast had more choices than I have ever seen at a hotel. The lot was secure, the pool looked nice and the grounds were well taken care of. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Greesboro. Enjoy."

"I arrived at noon on the first day of my stay. I check it see if my room was ready for an early check in.... to my surprise it was. I stayed for more than one night. The maid cleaned my room all of the day's. Nothing was misplaced or stolen.... so it is nice that they have a trusted staff. the hotel has 2 elevators... the one mid way is pretty slow. We just used the stairs or the elevator toward the front of the hotel. At night they do provide 3 free mixed drinks and snacks. which is nice for couples wanting to get a little tipsy before they go to bed. As for me.. I was traveling with my family. When we went down for the snack hour... we felt out of place. It was like I was walking my children into a bar. The ice machine was broken upstairs.... being everyone was drinking down stairs in the lobby
we decided to just skip the ice. I am sure the staff would have fixed it if I asked. In our room it was a little small, and the bed's were small too..... good luck fitting 2 adults in one bed unless you get the room with just one king bed. The indoor pool was nice. I was hard pressed to find a hotel with an indoor pool in this area. I called around to all of the hotels in the area.... they were atleast 20 dollar's more. This area has a lot of hotels with suites. And that is why I feel they charge more. The street this hotel is on is a very busy one. Be careful! You can also walk to dinner.... everything is really close. Overall this is a pretty nice hotel."

"The receptionist along with the staff that work at the hotel were very accomidating to me when I checked in. They had already put breakfast away, but they managed to go to the back and get me some fruit and yogurt. Was very pleased with the thoughfulness! definately recommend!"

"Convenient, staff were pleasant and helpful. Staff need to know a little more of the activities of the area, we had never been to Greensboro and only had one day, when asked at the front desk what there was to do (on a Saturday) other than shopping, they could not really tell us. Later that evening but a little late for us that there were lots of festivals and activities to go to, some historical sites to visit, etc.

"Visited this hotel overnight while traveling through the area; very crowded in public areas and a bit noisy. This is also a pet-friendly hotel and there was a barker on our floor (thankfully not next to our room). Other than the crowding and barking this was up to Drury's

"Very Clean and comfortable room. Not overly perfumed and the idea of awakening to a hot breakfast was marvelous. Most of the time when traveling you awaken to cold ceral or muffins, if anything. Staff was very helpful and took time to answer all my questions about the local area and restaurants for dinner that evening."

"We stayed at the Drury Inn while moving my daughter into Greensboro College. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Only wish the beds were queens instead of full size. The little things like a great hot breakfast (sausage, french toast, eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels) and the managers reception (3 free drinks per adult and soft drinks and snacks) brought this hotel a step above other hotels I have stayed at in the area. Amazing value - and we will certainly be staying at the Drury Inn in the future."

"I travel to the Greensboro area quite frequently on my way to the beach house. This hotel has great amenities. The free breakfast is splendid. The internet was extremely slow. The hotel is near the mall which is a plus. Other exits in Greensboro have more restaurants than exit 217. This hotel is secure with gated entrances.

"Disappointed: I chose this hotel because it got great reviews, but it was not what I expected. The room had wet carpet and smelled like mold, and the elevator smelled so bad I tried to hold my breath when I rode it. The majority of the hotel was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was good and the pool was nice. I had a queen room and it was very small. I didnt expect luxury but for almost $100 a night I expected more. I wont stay here again."

"Hotel is all in good shape except for the internet connection at their free business center. Hot breakfast is included. Front desk was very friendly even during rush time. But this is true of most people in North Carolina. The bathroom and bedroom are well kept and we got to sleep deep on their comfortable beds. We didn't realize what a difference can that make."

"The employees were very nice and helpful. However the I had to ask for my room to be cleaned. the hotel was in need of some repairs. The hotel swells like dogs. this should be a pet free hotel. I don't think this hotel should be rated a 4 star hotel. it should be a 2 at best. I would like to have my money back. I did not get what I was use to."

"Not Impressed: Once checking out drury inn website, I was thrilled to know there were many amenities such as free long distance,hot breakfast, and free snacks beverages. But once arriving at hotel, I wasn't too impressed. We were not greeted promptly, and check in process was slow, although several people were behind the desk. Once me and my bf recieved our room keys, we noticed the cleaning lady was still cleaning our room and we had to wait several minutes.We reserved a non-smoking guest room, but when we went inside the room it smelt like someone was smoking. The room was dark and muggy. The furniture was out-dated and the standing lamp worked, but i was bent and leaning towards the floor. Room was not too appealing. Maybe the presidential suite is better. The bathroom was the most up-dated part of the room, but could of been bigger. Hotel did not make me feel comfrontable. Hotel breakfast was not what I was expecting. The best thing was the scrambled eggs, but the french toast was hard and warm. I would recommend this for a person traveling alone as a one day stay,or families with younger children will enjoy the indoor pool area. However, it is over-priced."

""Very clean, well-equipped room, comfortable. Ours was quiet even though hotel's close to I-40 a main commercial strip. Ordinary room had mini-fridge microwave hidden inside cabinet--very useful. Split bath. Only tip: bathroom door banged against tub, could use rubber stopper. Helpful staff, good breakfast w plenty of seating space. A very good value. ""
