"The hotel was great and the concierge level was great, but there was one little hiccup. We sent down for some wine glasses and a corkscrew and it took nearly 45 mins and two calls for us to finally physically go down to the front desk to get the glasses. I would stay there again though."

"The Loews is conveniently located close to the downtown business district and the convention center. It is not too far from the historic area, but you will have to walk several blocks. My room was comfortable and relatively large by downtown hotel standards. The lobby and public spaces are dark and not all that inviting, but the room itself was airy and light. My view of the service is mixed. They said all the right things at check in, but when I asked for a one-hour delay in checking out to prepare for a 2:00 business meeting they refused and weren't all that friendly in doing so. Other than that, for the price, not a bad option."

"I stayed two days. My room was not cleaned the entire stay (No, not even the sheets or towels were changed out). I had dinner in my room the first night and the food was a real disappointment. The food apparently sat waiting to be delivered to my room for an extended period of time as the hot foods were cold and the cold sandwich was hot. The iced tea had melted all of the ice and was very warm. The second day I ate in the restaurant and was very impressed with both service and food quality. At check out, I was double charged for parking and food. When I mentioned the charges, they were reversed. NNot happy with the experience. Jim"

"I had never stayed at a Loew's before, but had read comparisons to other hotels that I really like. I was let down. Our reservation wasn't correct. We had reserved 1 King, but got 2 double beds. We were then told they had all the of King rooms booked, so we were out of luck and didn't even get much of an apology for the mistake. The walls were paper thin. I could hear the woman next door singing hymns and could hear even normal volume conversations from the hallway in our room. The cabinet holding the TV had what I would guess to be a good 3 months dust collected on the top of it and the nightstand had chunks of wood knocked off. We had a view straight into an office building next door that was so close I could read their screensavers. We attempted to order room service one night, but were told that it would be a two hour wait. We opted to look for dinner elsewhere. And finally, when we had our car brought around by the valet to leave, the car was left in a tunnel still inside the garage. When we came out, 3 valets were standing there with nothing to do, however none of them offered to bring the car up to the valet window for us or assist with our luggage. Nevermind the almost ridiculous price that they charge for parking. On the upside, the location is great and we were able to walk to quite a lot of places."

One snag we ran into though...we couldn't find the hair dryer! Necessary for a girls weekend outing! A quick call downstairs to the concierge assured us that someone would run a hair dryer up. Unfortunately no one came that night and we had to make another call the next morning...which was promptly taken care of. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. "This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was large and away from the elevators (as I requested) and the bedding was fabulous! The deskdresser furniture was a bit old but I wouldn't say that made a difference either way. I don't get these people who complain about the cost of parking. You bring a car into any city hotel and you're going to pay for parking. I guess the only thing I wished different was the cost of in-room internet, but I have an aircard so I didn't have to pay for it."

"We booked our stay about about 2 weeks prior. quot;King Bed romm with Spectacularquot; view. We on the 22nd floor, and our room was IN the elevator hall. Turned out not to be much of a noise problem after all, but the room was teeny!! Not even a closet, no tub, barely anywhere to put down a toothbrush yet alone a makeup bag. The lighting in the room and the bathroom was very low....but this is not the first time I have seen this in a hotel. The bed was nice, great pillows and nice sheets. RoomService was pretty good with cost and delivery time. Over all our stay was fine. Wouldn't really say any better or worse than that.."

"Our weekend stay had a great start from the beginning, until the end that's when it got sour! During our check-in process, the agent was friendly and made us feel welcomed. We were greeted by most of the employee that we encountered, except one particular housekeeping employee (NaV_ _E), that left us bad note! We went out for sightseeing early... more" ...Read Full Review

"From the time we arrived, until check out, we were treated with great respect. We had a situation with my 17 month old, and the staff went out of their way to help us cleaning up and providing extra bags. Everyone greeted us and even at breakfast they provided my son with things to do so I could eat. They... more" ...Read Full Review
